The airline's maroon and grey color scheme is carried through to the interior and seat design of Qatar Airways' aircraft, which include a range of seat layouts. Notable is the company's expanding fleet of airplanes equipped with the popular and pioneering Qsuite. Another significant aspect is that the majority of Qatar Airways' aircraft – with the exception of a few narrow body planes now undergoing conversion – have flat-bed seats. The seat is quite attractive to me. Indeed, it brings a grin to my face since it nearly compels you to sit down and enjoy. Fortunately, it was a daytime flight (2.00pm departure from Gatwick), and the noise-canceling headphones were a godsend in terms of decreasing the sensation of intrusion, however other passengers were attempting to sleep, and the loudness interfered with this. Staff made every effort to minimize the intrusion, but the group seemed adamant on being obnoxious. Both boarding and disembarking procedures were seamless, and we were able to move seamlessly to our next aircraft.

Passengers in seats 26ABC and 26HJK will appreciate the additional legroom. However, this extra room is restricted in the case of seats 26A and 26K due to the protrusion of the escape doors on the interior. On the other hand, seats 26DEF may have little legroom. Another downside of seats 26a and 26K is their lack of windows. Among the downsides of the 26th row seats are their closeness to the restrooms, their decreased width due to the tray tables being embedded in the armrests, and their lack of floor storage during take-off and landing.

We had WiFi, however it was really sluggish and pricey. I was given a promotion code that provided me around 135MB for free, but it's astonishing how fast so much data can be used, even with extreme caution. Meal service began shortly after departure. We had the option of breakfast or lunch. Given that I had just had breakfast, I chose the lunch, which was fairly nice. Not that I would anticipate bad quality from Qatar, but the cuisine on previous delivery flights has been a mix of economy and businessâthis trip was pure business.
